DUFFERS – Revisited
The pattern covers sizes
UK: 2, 3, 5, 6-7, 8, 10 ½
US: 3, 5½, 7½, 9½, 10½, 13
EUR: 33, 35.5, 38, 39-40, 43, 45
Each of these sizes can be knitted in Standard, Wide and Extra Wide width fittings.
Each width fitting adds approx. 1″ to the circumference of the slipper. The smallest three sizes start at a foot circumference of about 8-8 1/2″ so the wide version comes in at 9-9 1/2″ and the extra wide at 10-10 1/2. Similarly the largest three sizes have foot circumferences which start at about 9 1/2-10″ so the wide is 10 1/2-11″ and the extra wide 11 1/2 – 12″.
The pattern now covers knitting the slippers flat and then seaming or knitting them seamlessly.
It is now available from Ravelry for £ 3.75

Yarn: Lana Grossa Feltro 50m/50g or any pure untreated wool that will felt in a bulky weight or you can use a DK or worsted yarn held double throughout. Approx. quantities are 150m for the single colour slippers or 100m of each colour for the two colour ones. If you are using DK or worsted yarn held double you will need double the quantities.

The slippers are knitted flat then sewn.
Little Duffers – A children’s version of the Duffers felted slipper pattern
Little, and not so little, felted slippers to keep tiny feet warm.
Available in sizes: UK: 0, 1, 3, 4½, 6, 7½, 9 & 10½ (US: ½, 1½, 3½, 5, 6½, 8, 9½, & 11) [EUR: 15, 16½, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26½ & 28½] (Shoe sizes are given for guidance only, please refer to finished foot lenth for a more accurate size guide)
FINISHED FOOT LENGTH Approx.: 4”, 4 ½”, 5”, 5 ½”, 6”, 6 ½”, 7”& 7½
YARN: Worsted weight yarn that will felt (not super wash). In either one or two colours. Samples were knitted in: Cascade 220 solids and heathers You will need between 20g – 40g of yarn for each of the first 5 sizes and 50g-60g of yarn for each of the largest three sizes. If knitting the two colour slippers you will need slightly more of the instep colour.
Greengage Scarf
Size: 7” wide x 72” Long (18 cm x 180 cm) at widest points after a gentle blocking, to bring out the curving shape of the edges.
Gauge: 5.5 Sts/1” after blocking. Gauge is not crucial here -5sts/1” will give you a 7.5” wide scarf and 6 sts/1” will give you a scarf that is just over 6” wide.
Materials: For a 7” x 72” (18 cm x 18o cm) scarf you will need approx. 360 m/ 392 yds of a worsted/aran weight yarn. I used 4 balls of Louisa Harding Thistle (a Merino/Suri Alpaca mix) at a slightly smaller gauge than stated on the ballband. Remember that if your gauge is different you may require more or less yarn.
Choose something soft and luxurious against the skin with a slight halo. Anything too fluffy or busy may obscure the delicate travelling cables.
Notions: 4 mm or 4.5 mm needles or a size which gives you gauge.
